Zack Baun, a 27-year-old linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, has lately been garnering applause from sports enthusiasts for his magnificent performance that helped improve his team’s turnover ratio from -6 to +1.
Following this, he recently earned the title of the Pro Football Focus’ third-best off-ball linebacker and the number 2 coverage off-ball linebacker. Beginning his NFL journey in 2020 with the New Orleans Saints, Zack Baun has undoubtedly come a long way.

During an exclusive talk with the media in 2020, Zack Baun’s mom said,
He did private lessons to improve and always made sure that he was the best he could be. He was the first chair in bass. And he did all these things while playing sports. He didn’t just play them; he excelled at them.

Genell also added that while growing up, her son bumped into several other interests like dance, bass, and basketball but ultimately chose soccer for his career.
She further insisted that her son’s achievement is the outcome of every step he took daily and the family support he got over the years.

Almost four years after their marriage to his wife Ali, Zack Baun became a father for the first time, welcoming a baby boy named Elian on April 8, 2024.
On April 12, the NFL player took to his Instagram to share good news with his virtual family. Sharing a picture of his infant, Zack wrote, “Welcome home, Elian 🕊️4/8/24—we are so in love.“
Zack’s son will be seven months old in December. As ideal parents, the Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Zack Baun and his wife hope to give their child a decent upbringing and keep his family’s legacy on.
A month before Elian’s birth, he had said, “It’s a big, big, big next few months for me starting from this day moving forward, and that’s why we do what we do: to support our family and build our legacy that lives on.“
The Baun family currently resides in Philadelphia. They moved into the city after Zack Baun signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles on March 13, 2024. It appears that the parents of Zack Baun remained behind in their hometown.
