Peter Carr is a freshman guard for the Virginia Tech Hokies basketball team. At 6’5″, he is known for his strong all-around skills and leadership on the court.
Similarly, inspired by his older brother Andrew, Peter Carr played basketball at a very young age while attending West Chester East High School.
Peter became a four-year letterwinner and captain at West Chester East under coach Tom Durant’s guidance.
Likewise, Peter Carr contributed his amazing basketball skills to the Vikings’ success. He helped his team win three straight Ches-Mont Conference championships.
As a senior, he averaged 13.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game and played AAU basketball for East Coast Power in the HGSL league.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Peter excelled academically, earning a 4.7 GPA. He also involved himself in several school activities, serving as Vice President for DECA and for his senior class.
Peter Carr is majoring in computer engineering, combining his love for academics and basketball.
He plans to play professionally after college and then coach at the collegiate level or pursue a career as a software engineer.
