Ever since Ty Jerome began his NBA journey with the Phoenix Suns in 2019, interest in his love life has always been at its peak, but the 27-year-old NBA star is neither married to a wife nor seems to be dating anyone at present.
However, previously, he was openly in a relationship with a fellow University of Virginia student, Alex Marquis.
The couple probably met in 2016, the year they both entered the same University, UVA, but they started dating officially in 2017.
Alex remained by Jerome’s side throughout his whole collegiate basketball journey. She cheered for her boyfriend in his huge final-four win over Auburn and later shared multiple pictures of the event on her social media.
But, those social media posts where Ty Jerome and his girlfriend Alex flaunted their love for one another don’t exist now, and it is likely to suggest that they parted ways before turning to husband and wife.
Ty Jerome’s ex-girlfriend, Alex Marquis, is a Principal Software Engineer at Northrop Grumman!
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Virginia in 2020, Ty Jerome’s then-girlfriend began her career, joining Northrop Grumman as an associate Software engineer.
Within a year, Alex was promoted to Software Engineer and worked as a lead developer of the company’s application hosting teams for the next two years.
In July 2024, she achieved another career milestone, becoming the enterprise’s Principle Software Engineer.
Before landing at Northrop Grumman, Alex Marquis interned at two companies. She was an Information Technology intern at Guest Services, Inc. for three months, and for another three months, a special projects intern at FireEye, Inc.
Apart from all this, Alex also volunteered at the Madison House in Charlottesville, Virginia, for two years, from August 2018 to July 2020.
