Josh Heupel began his coaching career with Oklahoma in 2004!

With years of experience as an amazing football player, Heupel began his coaching journey as a graduate assistant for Oklahoma under head coach Bob Stoops.

Moreover, in 2005, the University of Arizona appointed him as the tight ends coach.

Josh Heupel became Oklahoma’s quarterbacks coach in 2006; during his tenure, he coached former NFL star Sam Bradford, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2008.

On December 13, 2010, he became the co-offensive coordinator of Oklahoma.

Likewise, after several years with Oklahoma, Heupel served as assistant head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterback coach for one season for the Utah State Aggies and as offensive coordinator and quarterback coach for two seasons for the Missouri Tigers.

Heupel became the head coach of the UCF Knights on December 5, 2017. In the 2018 season, he led UCF to a 12-1 record and an American Athletic Conference Football Championship Game victory.

Furthermore, Josh Heupel continues to contribute his remarkable coaching skills to his recent team, Tennessee, leading them to win several honorable titles.
