Taj Gibson shares a three-year-old son Prince Taj, with his partner Takisha Vale!

During his appearance in Club 520 podcast, Taj Gibson said he wants his son to be like Jalen Brunson.

American professional basketball player Taj Gibson, who recently signed a one-year contract worth $3.3 million with the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, has always been so attached to kids and finally got to raise one when his son, TJ, was born three years before.

Taj entered fatherhood, welcoming his only child, Prince Taj Jr., with his partner, Takisha Vale, on October 20, 2021. He considers his son the mini version of himself and often flaunts him on his social media handle.

According to his partner Takisha, Taj Gibson has been a fantastic father to their child. While wishing him on Father’s Day in 2024, she wrote,

Thank you for being such an amazing dad! Happy Father’s Day Taj❤️❤️✨ We love you!

As Takisha said, Taj is a goated father to his son, who he always dreamt of becoming.

Taj Gibson was always enthusiastic about raising his kids and spoiling them with his love!

Way before stepping into fatherhood, Taj Gibson was actively involved in philanthropic work and often visited the kids at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and contributed whatever he could as a person.

Likewise, he used to manage time for the special family during holidays, adopting and giving a treat to them. In this manner, in 2014, Taj provided a memorable Christmas to a family with a husband and wife, two daughters, and a son.

He did all this out of his difficult childhood experience, which was contributed by financial hardship.

While having an exclusive talk with NBA.com, Taj revealed how he used to feel as a child, especially during Christmas when he saw other kids playing outside with gifts.

Later, when he started playing basketball professionally, he no longer confronted those adversities. While talking about all these things at the time, Taj also disclosed his desire for his kids in the future.

Meanwhile, he said,

I don’t have kids. But one day when I do, I’m going to spoil them.

He further stated that several great things make kids’ days, and he wouldn’t want to miss a chance to make them happy.

Taj added,

I don’t want to leave any doubt that when they open their presents, the kids will be wowed and their parents will be stress-free

He had long desired such a thing for his kids, and now, he is finally making it work, doing everything for his three-year-old son, Prince Taj Jr.
