Russell Westbrook doesn’t have a biological sister but has a brother, Raynard, whom he appreciates profoundly!

Russell Westbrook's brother, Raynard, is an assistant football coach at RUHS, per his Instagram bio.

Denver Nuggets’ Russell Westbrook, the first player in NBA history to achieve the 200th career triple-double, is often linked to the Westbrooks sister, with people assuming they are siblings.

But, in reality, Russell has no sister, just a brother named Raynard. Born three years apart, the Westbrook brothers, Russell and Raynard, grew up being the greatest support systems for each other throughout their journey.

Although both of them have reached their 30s, their bond still seems absolutely unbreakable and going ever so strong. They often mention one another on their social media handles or in the public sphere.

Back in 2017, while receiving the NBA Most Valuable Player award, Russell mentioned in his speech that his brother was important to him. Meanwhile, he said,

To my little brother, my road dog. You mean so much to me, man. You’re my role model. I look up to you . You’re an amazing blessing. I’m happy to have you as my brother, and I wouldn’t trade anything for it.

The NBA star further added that he is so proud of his younger bro for the man he has become.

According to Russell, his brother never forgets to text and make time for him whenever he has a match. He also stated that Raynard has always been the one who lifts him every day.

Raynard, on the other hand, considers his big brother his father figure. On Father’s Day 2020, he wished Russel a Father’s Day, writing, “Happy Father’s Day big bro. Continue being a great dad. Love you, bro.”

Meme creators have playfully dubbed a girl named Liv as ‘Rushelle,’ humorously claiming she’s the sister of Russell Westbrook!

On October 26, 2024, the Twitter page of NBACentel shared a clip morphing the face of Russell Westbrook over a girl’s body and wrote in the caption,

Rushelle Westbrook, sister of Russell Westbrook goes off. 😳

Initially, the clip confused many, but later, people realized that the meme creators made fun of a podcaster named Liv, who was talking positively about Westbrook in one of the podcast episodes.

It soon went viral and captivated the audience’s attention. Many enjoyed the morphed picture, with many writing comments like, “🤣🤣🤣 No Rachelle!!!,” “The internet is still undefeated 👀😂😂,” “This is one of the best ones I’ve ever seen 🤣🤣,” and so on in the commentary section.

Well, the humorous meme also fascinated the girl, Liv. She has used her picture morphed with Russell’s face as her Twitter profile.
