Professional Wrestler, Jimmy Uso Was Inactive For Few Months, Leading to Speculation That He Passed Away

Speculation surrounding Jimmy Uso’s alleged passing began circulating online as he had been out of action since he was attacked by Solo Sikoa’s goons on April 12, 2024.

However, after a nearly six-month absence, Jimmy Uso made his return at Bad Blood on October 2024.

Born Jonathan Solofa Fatu on August 22, 1985, Jimmy made his wrestling debut in 2008 before joining WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), in 2010.

The Usos are part of the famous Anoa’i family, which has produced several well-known wrestlers, including The Rock, Roman Reigns, and their father, Rikishi.

Jimmy Uso quickly became known for his high-flying wrestling style and charismatic presence.

Rumors About the Passing of Jimmy Uso Spread on Social Media Through Unofficial Channels

The reason these rumors spread could be due to misinformation by individuals looking to grab attention or create shock value.

His father, Rikishi, had been updating about his health, but fans got concerned when he asked them to pray for Jimmy Uso’s health.

In an interview with Off the Top, Rikishi said,

“Jimmy’s doing fine. I think at any given moment, hopefully, Jimmy will be ready to come back to be able to do what he loves. I’m sure he misses the fans, He’s doing great. He’s got some time to able to rest the body, rest the mind. He’s ready to go. Hopefully, we’ll be able to see Jimmy soon, They miss Jimmy though, My whole feed is like, ‘Where’s Jimmy?'”

When Jimmy returned, he marked his face turn by helping Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes defeat The New Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

On the October 25 episode of SmackDown, Jimmy’s twin brother, Jey, helped him and Reigns take down The Bloodline, leading to the brothers reuniting in the ring.

At Crown Jewel on November 2, The Usos and Reigns were defeated by Sikoa, Tonga, and Fatu in a Six-Man Tag Team match, with Sikoa pinning Reigns.

Later, at Survivor Series: WarGames on November 30, Jimmy, Jey, Reigns, Sami Zayn, and CM Punk triumphed over The Bloodline and Bronson Reed in a WarGames match.

Along With His Twin Brother, Jimmy Formed One of the Most Successful and Enduring Tag Teams in WWE

Jimmy and Jey were trained by their father since childhood. The twins formed The Uso Brothers and became FCW Florida Tag Team Champions.

Throughout their career, Jimmy and Jey have had tremendous success as a tag team.

They have set a record for the longest male tag team championship reign in WWE history.

They set a record with a 622-day run as the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

The twins are eight-time tag team champions, having won the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship three times.

They also received the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the Year in 2014 and 2015.

In 2017, they captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championship thrice, followed by additional reigns in 2019 and 2021.

The Usos made history as the first team to win both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

They are also the first to hold them simultaneously as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

The Usos’ character has evolved, transitioning from fun-loving, party-centric personas to more serious, dominant figures.
