A video of a man who looks like Phoenix Suns power forward Kevin Durant has gone viral online, making everyone believe he is Nolan Durant, KD’s poor twin brother.
On November 7, 2024, X (formerly Twitter) account @TheNBACentel uploaded the video with the caption, “Kevin Durant’s twin brother Nolan Durant spotted hustling in Brooklyn, New York.“

Interestingly, the man featured in the video shared an uncanny resemblance to NBA star Kevin Durant. So, the post jokingly claimed that he is KD’s twin brother, as he passed the twin test with similar looks.
Besides similar facial features, the man was also wearing clothes that matched with KD’s fit.
One X user wrote, “Oh my God, even the composure and stature, the resemblance is crazy,” while another added, “Damn he not only look like KD he also dress like KD….“
Meanwhile, many sarcastically added that the man in the video is not Nolan Durant, KD’s twin brother; instead, he is Kevin Durant himself, back to the nets.
Likewise, netizens found yet another person who looked like Kevin Durant but a less fortunate twin brother from the Philippines.

Although the post was a joke, and its claims were just for fun, some people apparently bought it and criticized the NBA player for not helping out his twin brother financially while he is a millionaire.
But we can’t blame them as the post seems legit, citing the source of the video as TMZ Sports, which is not true. Additionally, the parody account NBA Centel, which closely resembles the official NBA Central account, could easily be mistaken at first glance.
So, those who did not notice the difference and were new to the platform fell for the joke, making Kevin Durant’s twin trend online.
