Nikola Jokic’s ‘don’t care attitude’ during the media interaction made netizens question if he has some sort of underlying autism!

Nikola Jokic is completely normal and is focused on his NBA career.

The 29-year-old Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is considered one of the elite players in NBA history, with him earning several honors, including the NBA Most Valuable Player Award three consecutive seasons and the NBA All-Star title six times.

His playing skill and strategy have undoubtedly garnered applause from a wide range over the years, but more than that, his ‘don’t care attitude’ and unique personality have really struck his audiences lately.

Nikola Jokic never hesitates to express his real feelings, either his frustration or joy, without caring even once where he stands at the time.

About a year ago, during the media interaction after winning his first NBA championship with the Denver Nuggets, Nikola Jokic suddenly expressed his desire to return to his home in front of the media.

In the meantime, somebody had asked him about the upcoming men’s parade, and after learning about it, he suddenly appeared frustrated and said, “No, I need to go home.”

Well, considering the indifferent attitude of Nikola Jokic and his playing strategy, many appear to link it with the autism spectrum, but that is just a baseless rumor, nothing else.

Nikola Jokic wants nobody to recognize him once he retires from basketball!

Unlike many other sports personalities, Nikola Jokic has a different viewpoint on his life and athletic career.

During his appearance at the Curios Mike podcast show in December 2023, Nikola Jokic revealed his wish to live his life totally like an ordinary person, not like a celebrity, after he finishes his basketball career.

While responding to the question regarding the pros and cons of being famous, Nikola said so.

I mean, i really don’t like this life because, at the other day, we are just a basketball player so we are doing good at what we are doing. But, media is something that is around us and of course we are getting paid for because of the media…But, being famous, some people like it and some don’t. When I finish my career, i really wish nobody knows me.

He further stated that he wants his kids to recognize him as a dad, not as a basketball player. All in all, Nikola wants to live a normal life and enjoy the moments in the future.

After watching him say so, many of his audiences were quite impressed with him. Many praised him for his thought process and simplicity; as one wrote, “I want my kids to remember me as a Dad and not as a basketball player… and not to have a phone. Another big goal of mine.”

Some others compliment him, saying that he should be the face of the NBA for his humility, class, professionalism, solid work ethic, and solid values, and some displayed their complete faith that Nikola can make a big difference.
