She currently serves as the Department Head, PE Teacher, and MS Coach of Metairie Park Country Day School located in Metairie, Louisiana, United States.

Their daughter Mackenzie Rizzi is following in Darren’s footsteps; she has been an executive assistant to the head coach of the Duke Football team since 2022.
Before that, Mackenzie worked as an administrative coordinator for Texas A&M Univeristy football.
Likewise, after earning a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Penn State University, Mackenzie began her professional journey with Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School, where she worked as a head volleyball coach and personal volleyball trainer.
She also served as the player development and community relations intern for Penn State Football, her alma mater.
Mackenzie’s Twitter reveals that she is also the director of recruiting and administration for canesfootball.
Like Mackenzie, her sister and younger daughter of Darren and Tracey, Alexandra also gained experience in sports management from working with several universities.

Alexandra Rizzi earned her Bachelor of Arts and a digital journalism degree from Penn State University in 2024.
While attending Penn State Univeristy, Alexandra worked as an intercollegiate athletics marketing and student manager in women’s basketball.
In addition, Alexandra served as a football recruiting Intern and women’s basketball office intern at the University of Miami.
After graduating, Alexandra served as a Physical Education Teacher at Saint Gregory the Great School, following in her mother Tracey’s footsteps.
Darren Rizzi and Tracey’s sons are all athletes!
All three sons of Darren and Tracey Rizzi are amazing athletes who are pursuing careers in sports.
Christian Rizzi participated in one game during his collegiate football career. He debuted in 2021 against Rice, contributing to Texas’ 58-0 victory.

He also earned several honorable titles, including All-Big 12 Rookie Team and Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Moreover, during his sophomore year, 2022, he transitioned from playing offensive line to deep snapping.
Darren and Tracey’s other son, Casey Rizzi, is a linebacker with the Miami Hurricanes. He graduated in 2024 from Metairie Park, where he played basketball and baseball.
Regarding their youngest son, Cameron is also pursuing a career in sports; he plays baseball at Metairie Park and will graduate in 2025.
