Timmy Dutta is following in his parents’ Tim Dutta and Susie Dutta’s footsteps in sports!
Timmy Dutta was born in September 2001 in Wellington, Florida, to father Tim J. Dutta and mother Susan, aka Susie Dutta.
Moreover, he began playing polo at a young age, inspired by his parents, Tim J. Dutta and Susie Dutta, both athletes.
Timmy’s father, Tim Dutta, grew up riding horses and playing polo in India. He was a rider in the army.
He chased his dreams of becoming a professional polo player when he came to the U.S. for a summer vacation when he was 17 years.
Meanwhile, Timmy’s mother, Susie, started riding horses at a very young age; she was the first event rider to ride up to the advanced level.
Growing up in Seattle, Washington, Susie earned her B rating in Pony Club and won several honorable titles, including the Fritz Cup.
Susie switched to dressage when she was 21 and did her first Grand Prix when she was 24.
Similarly, Susie has competed internationally in some of the biggest dressage shows at Aachen, Hickstead, Falsterbo, and Rotterdam.
Timmy’s parents first met at Dressage at Devon in 1992 and have been together ever since.
Tim also guided his wife Susie in purchasing her first true dressage horse, a Lipizzaner-Warmblood cross named Maple Magnum, aka Thimper.

In 1988, Timmy’s father, Tim Dutta, started The Dutta Corp, an international equestrian shipping company that is the largest in the world.
Likewise, The Dutta Corporation files horses to competitions and events across the globe, including many World Championships and the Olympics.
In April 2016, the Dutta Corp team won the club’s Santa Rita Abierto 16-Goal Tournament, Timmy’s first big win since he started playing.
Moreover, the Dutta family excels both in sports and business and continues to contribute remarkably to both sports and business.
On the other hand, Susie Dutta is contributing her skills in real estate. She currently works as a realtor sales associate at Douglas Elliman Real Estate.
