54-year-old Tami Roman, who has lately been garnering admiration for playing the sister role of Ms. Pat in the Ms. Pat Show, was one of the breakout stars of VH1’s famous show Basketball Wives.
As the ex-wife of former Basketball player Kenny Anderson, Tami appeared on Basketball Wives for nine seasons. In 2019, she finally left the show to look for new opportunities and eventually landed on the TV series Truth Be Told.
During that time, the Ms. Pat Show was looking for a lady actress to play the role of Ms. Pat’s sister Denise, and Tami auditioned for it.
However, since Ms. Pat didn’t want any reality TV star to be on her show, Tami almost lost the opportunity, but the casting director, Leah Daniels, convinced Ms. Pat. In this regard, Tami once said,
