It’s been a while since the former professional basketball player Jason Richardson has continually been facing the accusation that he welcomed a baby boy from his inappropriate relationship with Alejandra Amarilla, the then-wife of Steve Nash.
As far as the media is informed, the matter is a decade old. In 2010, Steve Nash announced his divorce from Alejandra, his wife of five years, only a day after they welcomed their son Matteo Joel Nash.
Meanwhile, many had linked their legal separation with infidelity. People claimed that Steve’s wife gave birth to a son from her affair with Jason Richardson.
Many years later, in 2023, the matter reignited, with the official subreddit of Phoenix Suns posting a post on reddit writing, “Does anyone else remember the rumor that the reason Jason Richardson was suddenly traded was because he was f*cking Steve Nash’s wife at the time?”
Further, Twitter users also added fuel to their then-alleged affair by writing that Jason Richardson had a baby with Steve’s wife. Most recently, on December 9, 2024, @RiskItAllRichy expressed his amazement at the assertion, tweeting,
But it doesn’t seem like any of the involved parties—neither Jason, Steve, or Alejandra—ever confirmed the rumor. They are all now busy with their personal lives and families.
