Curtis Pilot’s successful business venture, Pilot Polo Team, is likely to have accumulated him a net worth in millions!

Curtis Pilot's Polo team, Pilot, debuted in World Polo League in 2024.

Over the years, Curtis Pilot has proved himself as one of America’s most influential polo players, winning several titles, including the USPA Gold Cup and the U.S. Open Polo Championship. However, as of now, his status as a player is still an amateur.

But saying so doesn’t mean he doesn’t earn a single penny. Curtis Pilot owns the Polo team Pilot, which competed internationally, and he operates as the team’s lead player.

So, it is no wonder Curtis, through his team, made a pretty good amount. In 2020, his team became the first to enter the first-ever reputable Gauntlet of Polo.

According to the PR Newswire, his team earned $1 million in prizes in 2019, just winning three tournaments.

The pilot received a prize of $125,000 by winning the C.V. Whitney Cup and $125,000 by winning the USPA Gold Cup.

Media also reported Curtis’ team would secure the $250,000 plus a $500,000 bonus if it succeeded in holding a U.S. Open Polo Championship title.

Later, the Pilot won the championship and was named the first Gauntlet Champion. Not only that, but the team accumulated an estimated amount, too.

During the media interaction, Curtis Pilot credited his team members for the win and said,

The key for our team is a great organization, but it extends all the way to the grooms, trainers and pilots who take care of the horses. Our team manager Gonzalo de la Fuente put it all together and without that we would not be here today. It did not happen by accident, we just did the best we could every day

So, just like Curtis’ team earned prize money by becoming GAUNTLET champions in 2019, their small win in several other games and events may also have served the team a handsome amount, and so may the owner.

Considering all this, we believe that Curtis Pilot has amassed a net worth of millions from his successful venture, his polo team.

More than for wealth, Curtis Pilot feels honored that Polo helped him to expand his friend circle!

Once, during a media interaction, Curtis Pilot said that he had no idea how to ride a horse until he was 49 years old. But, he entered the sports field and made a big community for himself.

Over decades have passed since Curtis started playing polo, and he has already been ranked as the top amateur polo player.

Curtis Pilot has achieved so much from Polo that he thinks he has been living a fairy tale life, not only for the wealth he accumulated but also for the people he has earned over the years.

During an interview with the U.S. Polo Org in 2022, when he was asked about the role of polo in his life, he said, “Polo has allowed me to meet a lot of incredible people and I have made so many friends from all over the world.”

Curtis further explained, saying,

I am so honored to be a part of a worldwide community that is so willing to give to others in need. This year, we have once more experienced several incidents where people needed help from all of us, and so many have given with no hesitation.
