After playing for the Texas Longhorns women’s basketball team, American basketball player Charli Collier entered the WNBA in 2021, and the Dallas Wings selected her in the 1st overall pick.
According to the New York Times, Charli Collier was accompanied by her boyfriend, mom, and brother during her WNBA draft in 2021.
Three years have passed since then, and Charli Collier has never been spotted with her boyfriend, not even once. She also hardly talks about her love life in the media, more likely to suggest that she is no longer in a relationship.
She appears to be enjoying her single life and the hype she garnered as a basketball player. But at the same time, she is also thinking of widening her professional horizon.
During her appearance in the Rogers That podcast, Charli talked about her aspirations for the future and said,
Meanwhile, she also displayed her love for football. Since she contemplated achieving so much, this might be the reason why she doesn’t have time for a relationship.
Charli Collier’s career-focused attitude is entirely driven by her late father’s word guide!
WNBA star Charli Collier grew up close to her late father, Elliott Collier. He was the leading force behind her basketball journey, always teaching her that she was the only one on her way to becoming an achiever.
Whenever she went through a low situation, her dad would motivate her. During an exclusive talk with The Athletic, she said,
Daddy, my love for you is eternal❤️ may you Rest In Peace. I will make you proud🙏🏾 WE LOVE YOU #IDoItForMyFather pic.twitter.com/Iz2kZqeNgP

The confidence that her father had in her has always driven Charli Collier to do better professionally.
It’s been almost a decade now since Charli lost her dad to cancer, but his influence on her is extreme. She often dedicated a post to her late father and equally admires her mom, Ponda.
