Professional basketball player for Boston Celtics Baylor Scheierman is currently in a relationship with Nebraska Volleyball alum Ally Batenhorst. The two started dating only three months after their first meeting.
Baylor met Ally in person in June 2023 at the College World Series in Omaha and then stayed in regular contact via text.

During an exclusive talk with the New York Times, the Celtics star stated,
In mid-September, she was playing, and I was watching. I texted her during the game. That’s where it started. We started talking. And now we’re where we’re at.
Further, Baylor claimed that from the moment they became official, they hadn’t missed any of one another’s matches.
Well, at the time, both were into collegiate sports. While Baylor Scheierman was playing for Creighton, his girlfriend was a member of the Nebraska Cornhuskers women’s volleyball team.
So, in December 2023, when Ally’s team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, had a volleyball match at the Devaney Center, Baylor showed up in the audience, leading it to be the talk of the town.
While addressing the matter, the Hastings native said,
on top of that I’m dating Ally — I came out for warmups and had people yelling at me. People sitting courtside were yelling at me. ”It’s fine. At the end of the day, I’m just supporting my girlfriend. I love watching them and watching her play

Likewise, Ally has also repeatedly spotted alongside Baylor’s mother, Shannon, during his matches.
Baylor Scheierman and Ally seem to have a beautiful relationship; however, they hardly shared any social media posts mentioning each other as girlfriends or boyfriends.
Baylor Scheierman said he wants a ‘simple lifestyle with parents & girlfriend’ after the Boston Celtics drafted him!
On June 26, the Boston Celtics selected Baylor Scheierman with the 30th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft.
The media soon interviewed him to know his reaction to being drafted for the NBA, but Baylor seemed absolutely calm. He said nothing had changed in his life, though his journey to the NBA had started.

For me, not really a lot’s different, other than I’m playing basketball for a living. I like to live a simple lifestyle still — go home, play video games, talk to my mom, my dad, my girlfriend.

Baylor signed a contract with the Celtics on July 6 and started playing for the team. On the other hand, his girlfriend, Ally, joined the USC Women’s Volleyball team.
