In the latest NBA match, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Portland Trail Blazers by a landslide in their home arena as they scored 134-89.
The crowd present during the match booed its own home team, claiming the players showed lack of effort on offense, on defense and on hustle, giving opponent Grizzlies easy points.
The Blazers fans quickly took to online platforms to criticize the horrible play by the team on their own home ground.

Amidst the disappointment, Anfernee Simons, in particular, is in hot water for his passive play, sparking online criticism.
One enraged fan wrote, “Anfernee Simons body language is awful,” while another added, “Anfernee Simons should be benched. He’s so f*cking awful. It’s crazy that he starts over Scoot.“
Likewise, another one pointed out his low-effort play, “Anfernee Simons is playing with very little effort… He’s basically one of the leaders of the team…The Blazers need to change something. It starts with the culture of the team and the locker room.“
Anfernee scored 4 points with 1 rebound, 1 assist in 19 minutes play, which is typically below-average outing for a player like him who is famous for his shooting and offensive skills.
Following his below-average performance, one fan lashed out online and called Anfernee ‘the sorriest starter’ in the NBA.

In a post-game interview, Chauncey Billups, current coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, also agreed with his team’s weak performance.
“I told the guys if you sleep well tonight, you’re a loser,” he further added.
Likewise, another disappointed The Blazers fan tweeted, “Nothing, next game we’re gonna lose by 50. Also, i dont know what the f*ck anfernee simons was doing tonight, he needs to also be held accountable.“
