Canton who was born on March 1, 2011, passed away just at the age of 13.

Our CA family comes together with heavy hearts at this time as we grieve the loss of beloved 8th grader and dedicated Canton Academy Panther, Jasper Branning. Please join us in keeping the Branning family in our thoughts and prayers along with Jasper’s classmates, friends, teachers and coaches. We will update when arrangements are finalized. Today we lean on the promise that, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” -Psalm 34:18 His positive energy was evident in every endeavor, whether participating in school events or supporting his peers.
He had a way of making those around him feel valued and appreciated, a quality that endeared him to teammates, coaches, and friends alike.
Jasper embraced every opportunity to excel both in the classroom and on the field.
Teachers and mentors admired his curiosity, determination, and commitment to personal growth.
As an active Canton Academy football team member, Jasper showcased his athletic talents and his unwavering commitment to his teammates.
His friend and teammate, Tristen Dossett, shared a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, recalling the unique bond they shared,
“I got the honor to know Jasper Branning when he stepped on the football field with me in 2023. He helped me everyday from daily practice to weekly football games. He could run a football out to the middle of that field faster than anyone I’ve ever seen. He was funny, kind, and a one of a kind human being. He is very dearly missed.”
His positive energy and dedication, both on and off the field, were evident to all who knew him.
