As Brian Matusz is no longer with us, fans have begun searching for information about his wife!

On July 23, 2019, Brian Matusz joined the Acereros de Monclova team.

The former Baltimore Orioles player Brian Matusz passed away without walking down the aisle. Additionally, the fact that Brian Matusz likely never had a wife shocked many of his fans.

Brian Matusz was a private individual and did not reveal whether he had a wife during his lifetime. Similarly, he remained silent when it came to his past relationships.

Additionally, queries about his personal life started trending after his unfortunate demise. And, the news of his passing was announced by the Baltimore Orioles in a statement on January 7, 2025.

There, the team wrote, “Our hearts are heavy tonight as we mourn the passing of former Oriole, Brian Matusz. He dedicated his time to connecting with any fan he could, was a cherished teammate, and always had a smile on his face.”

Furthermore, they have shown their support to his family and said, “Brian’s family and loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.”

As of now, the cause of his demise has not been announced, which has caused some of his fans to worry.

The Baltimore Orioles selected Brian Matusz in the first round with the fourth overall pick!

The Orioles selected Brian Matusz in the 2008 MLB draft, and the team officially signed him on August 15, 2008.

Similarly, he made his debut almost a year later in a match against the Detroit Tigers on August 4, 2009. In the end, they won the game after allowing six hits, one earned run, and striking out five over five innings.

In the following year, he played 32 games for the Orioles and managed to become fifth in the American League Rookie of the Year voting. However, 2011 was a hard year for him as he faced several injuries and showed inconsistent performance.

As a result, he made changes to his game, including moving to the bullpen in 2012, which helped improve his performance. In the coming years, he became a reliable player for the team and appeared in over 50 games each season.

However, in 2016, the Baltimore Orioles decided to trade him to the Atlanta Braves. Many fans were in disbelief upon hearing the news as they loved Brain.
