And just like that, in a heartbeat, another family is left in shambles by the New Orleans tragedy, with Tiger Bech leaving a huge emptiness in his parents’ hearts following his untimely demise.
The sports community has lost yet another bright light to an unforeseen disaster that claimed the life of Tiger Bech. He was special in every sense, with a character and persona that perfectly matched his reputation as an athlete.
However, the tragedy stripped all the hope from Tiger Bech, casting a shadow over everything he once cherished.
Tiger Bech was part of a tight-knit family that included his parents and siblings, Ginnie, Jack, and Sophie. Just like his mother, Michelle Bech, he was very smart and witty, with a hint of his own uniqueness.
However, the identity of Tiger’s father is a bit of a mystery, with some folks calling him Martin.
But here’s the deal: Princeton Football lists his full name as Martin “Tiger” Bech, which might bust the Martin claim. Meanwhile, the rumor mill is also spinning with chatter that Brett Bech might be Tiger’s father.
Brett Bech is a famous name in the NFL world as the former wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints. Currently, he is the Director of Strength Training Protocol for OxeFit.
What supports these claims is a post shared by Michelle in 2021, along with reports suggesting Brett played college football at LSU.
The LSU ties do make it sound like a match made in football heaven, but for now, these are just speculations. Until the Bech family sets the record straight, the mystery surrounding his father’s identity might just stay in the shadows.
Tiger Bech lived a life of touchdowns until an unfortunate turn of events changed everything!
The New Year bash went off the rails for many after the horrific truck attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Officials claimed this event was an act of terror, which left nearly 35 people injured and 15 found lifeless.
Sadly, Tiger Bech was among the 15 people, and his close friend, Ryan Quigley, is undergoing treatment.
US investigators have identified the pickup truck driver as Shamsud-Din Jabbar who was a 42-year-old US citizen. As per reports, he was a veteran and had a criminal record relating to traffic offenses and theft.
In the aftermath, an X user (formerly Twitter) shared a cryptic post about Tiger. It was a picture of Tiger’s Facebook post from 2015, in which he reposted content about extremist content.
Nevertheless, the attack may have taken Tiger’s life, but his legacy remains untouchable.
Tiger Bech was an All-Ivy League performer who was famous as a wide receiver and kick returner at Princeton. After graduating from Princeton, he took his talents to the financial world and worked as a trader at Seaport Global.

St Thomas More High School had held a service for Tiger at their chapel, as he played there prior to Princeton. His Princeton Tigers coach, Bob Surace, also recalled their last conversation, talking about the pride he felt seeing Tiger’s success.
Bob Surace stated,
During his career at Princeton, Tiger had recorded 53 catches for 825 yards and three touchdowns as a wide receiver. He wasn’t just another name on a roster but a passionate and determined individual both on and off the field.
Even though Tiger Bech is gone, he continues to live on through the memories he left behind and the lives he touched.
