Linford Christie’s prolific career in sports might have amassed him a net worth of over $1 million!

Linford Christie also worked as a presenter for BBC.

Linford Christie, a British former sprinter and athletic coach who created history by becoming the only European athlete to win the gold medal in the 100 meters, is believed to have a net worth in millions.

Beginning his career as a sprinter at 19, Linford Christie achieved milestones in his career in 1986, winning the European championship in the 100-meter category.

Then, he participated in the 1987 World Championship in Athletic and won a bronze medal. Further, he created history, becoming a runner in the 100m to win Olympic, World, Continental, and Commonwealth titles simultaneously.

He was doing great in his professional endeavors and earned several medals as a player, but in 1997, he announced his retirement from his International playing career under several circumstances.

But having said that doesn’t mean he stopped there. Linford later took a coaching career and helped many players win the Olympic title.

Such a larger-than-life career had undoubtedly earned him an abundant amount of money. Considering all this, we believe Linford Christie has amassed over $1 million net worth.

Linford Christie now runs his own sports management company!

Soon after he retired from his International playing career in 1993, Linford Christie founded a sports management company, Nuff Respect, in cooperation with the former sprinter Colin Jackson.

The company still exists and is doing great on its own. In addition, the former Olympian also runs Linford Christie Academy, an athlete training academy that trains aspiring athletes to compete in track and field.

Since he owns two companies, there’s no doubt that Linford has been earning pretty well and has a good lifestyle, but the situation was not always like this.

Linford Christie once went penniless despite owning the company. The circumstances occurred with several allegations he faced during the time.

While talking to the BBC, he said, “For two years, I didn’t earn a penny and spent virtually all my savings trying to prove my innocence.” But eventually, after some time, he bounced back and took a form in his career.
