Cisco Acevado
added another MVP of the
League title to his name
after leading Co-ed team
LFF to a Championship on
Week 8. Cisco Acevado
dominated the league's
highest division,
Diamond Division, with
21.2 ppg and a
division-high 19
three-pointers. Acevado
was also instrumental in
Relics' #1 finish after
beating Flava 4 Life on
Week 7. Acevado ranked
3rd in scoring with 156
points / 22.3 ppg. The
100 point scorer ranked
3rd in Platinum Division
in 3-pointers with 25
three's.
Notable candidates for
MVP of the League
include: Terrence
Martin (Wolves,
Relics, Spam Musubi),
Kenneth Ubom (Flava,
Flava 4 Life), Jordan
Ramos (Gottem, -_-),
Samantha Cardeno
(Triple Threat,
Trinicousins)
GENERAL MANAGER OF THE LEAGUE
Mario Thompson
compiled an overall 14-1
record this season and
Flava-4-Life broke the
record for the league's
longest winning streak
(Men's Division) by
winning 14 straight
games (span of 2
seasons). Thompson
played minimal this
season but his team held
it down and the 2-time
Champions (Diamond &
Platinum) are looking
for their first 3-peat
this post-season.
Notable candidates for
GM of the League
include: Trinicousins
GM Michael Santa Maria
and Cholo Espinosa
(Gold, Co-ed),
Elizabeth Skiles
(Triple Threat), John
Paras (Weda, Still
Fly), Victor Ng
(Spam Musubi, Lights
Out).
STAFF MEMBER OF THE

reliable stats keeper
and he's been active in
updating the Hall of
Fame page.
Notable candidates for

Collado, Francis Pascual,
Lamont King (official)
FAN OF THE SEASON
Trinicousins fans
were recognized as the
FANS OF THE SEASON as
they continue to fill
the stands week in and
week out. It has been an
eventful year for the
Trinicousins winning the
Championship last winter
(Winter 2010) in
LeBronze Division. The
Gold Division team has
made strides this season
and several fans have
taken the court in the
league's Inaugural
LeBronze Division.
Every team is requesting
to play against them and
a lot of higher caliber
players played in Co-ed
just to play against
Trinicousin.
"Any time you can play
against a crowd, you
want to play in that
type of atmosphere,"
said League MVP Cisco
Acevado.
"I've been waiting so
long to play against
Trinicousins, something
about their fans..."
said high flyer Alphonso
White.
Notable candidates Fan
of the Season include:
Adoboys fans, Hong
Famliy, Eric Ubom
MOST
INSPIRATIONAL PLAYER
Terrence Martin
knew the rules would be
in place next season for
Co-ed Division so he
brought his best game to
Co-ed this season and
league officials had a
tough time telling him
that Co-ed was
recreational. Terrence
Martin scored 50 points
in a losing effort to
LFF this season but it
was his 2 buzzer beaters
against a formidable
squad that put him over
the top for Most
Inspirational Player. He
was shown up momentarily
by Trinicousins G Chris
Capinia was Capinia put
the ball between his
legs to the crowd's
delight. Seconds later,
Martin responded by
blocking Capinia's
3-point attempt.
"He brings his best game
every week and whether
its playing against
girls or playing against
bums after a 3-on-3
tournament, you know
Terrence will bring it
on the court," said
League Commissioner Hanz
Jimenez. "We won Nike's
3-on-3 Tournament with
him, Ubom and Knox but
it was Terrence that
looked like he had the
most fun. I never
thought I'd see this guy
cheer-leading on the
sidelines or begging for
free handouts, but yah,
Terrence is a huge fan
of the game."

POST SEASON AWARDS

Aaron Arango becomes a unanimous
Rookie of the Season choice.
Aaron
Arango, the stand-out rookie for
Shottas, won Player of the Week 3
times this season and was named
Rookie of the Season. The rookie
high-flyer averaged 32.0 ppg and was
the league's #1 scorer with 224
points. Arango also led the division
in 3-pointers and he logged 45
three-pointers.
Kenneth Ubom was instrumental in
Flava 4 Life's historic 14 game
winning streak. This season, Ubom
showed tenacious defense averaging
2.3 spg, 4.7 rpg. His scoring number
is noticeably lower than his record
41.3 ppg but he'll settle for 22.2
ppg knowing his team has a realistic
chance at the Platinum Division
Championship.
Hall of Famer Andrew Knox is
celebrating his Hall of Fame season
with a GM of the Season title and
Defensive Player of the Season
title. Brandon Thomas was a close
2nd in the category with both
players leading Platinum Division in
blocked shots with 13. Knox grabbed
10 more steals and 5 more rebounds
than Thomas this season.

POST SEASON AWARDS

Outlawz and Bullets share GM of the
Season Award
Outlawz
and Bullets dominated the season
until Week 7 when the two collided
for Bullets' first loss of the
season. The rival teams spent most
of the season looking forward to
Week 7 and most of their peers
overlooked them. It was a surprise
that both teams would collide on
Week 7 with a perfect record and
despite both teams losing on Week 8,
league analysts felt it was enough
to reward both GMs the General
Manager of the Season award.
Congratulations to Outlawz GM
Fernando Ruiz and Bullets GM Daniel
Donato.
Mike Epps, the elder statesman of
Blitzburgh was a 50% favorite to win
the title. Epps edged out David
Munoz of the Bullets and Jordan
Ramos of -_-. Blitzburgh Center Epps
averaged 24.1 ppg, 11.9 rpg, 1.3 spg.
He made his debut last year with son
Chris Epps and the duo played with
so much energy, their peers assumed
they were brothers.
"We assumed they were brothers
because they play with so much
energy and Chris was the one who
actually broke the news," said
League Commissioner Hanz Jimenez.
"His text said that was his dad, not
his brother...we had a good laugh
about it."
Matt Dickinson, Adoboys Center, was
a unanimous choice for Rookie of the
Season. The rookie averaged 22.8 ppg,
12.9 rpg, 1.5 apg for Adoboys and
the team hit a stride on Week 8 by
beating previously undefeated team,
Outlawz. Lupe Villescas, a Got Em
rookie, averaged 19.7 ppg, 8.2 rpg
while Joselito Victorino averaged
23.5 ppg for Justice League.

With two buzzer beaters against
Champions LFF, Terrence Martin shows
resilience for Spam Musubi
LFF defeated Spam
Musubi twice this season. Both games
were decided in the OT period but it
was Terrence Martin's
competitiveness that made both games
an instant classic. He hit an nail
biting 3-pointer when the two faced
off in mid-season and on Week 8,
Martin hit an improbable 60 footer
that sent the game to OT. Martin
averaged 30.7 ppg in the league's
newest division, Co-ed.
She doesn't put up numbers and her
stat line doesn't do her justice but
Betty Jo Garcia was one of the
division's top defenders this
season. She was one of Winona
Ryder's lock down defenders and her
teammate, Giselle Jimenez, ranked
#4. Kevin Valmonte, playing every
game like it was a Diamond Division
game, finished a close 2nd for
Defensive Player of the Season.
Omar Alameddine has won the
Championship in every division in
Superstar except for LeBronze
Division. His latest Championship
was won in Co-ed and Literally for
Fun finished the season with a
perfect 8-0 record.

POST SEASON AWARDS
September
22, 2010
A*Team
won the Championship on Week 8 and
GM Matt Stein takes home GM of the
Season Award.
Matt Stein edged out
last season's GM of the Season,
Danny Martinez for GM of the Season.
Stein led the team to a strong
finish and it was A*Team that ended
Dipset's perfect season with a huge
win on Week 8. Dipset SF Ryan
Mercado was recognized as this
season's LeBronze Division MVP and
he averaged 12.6 ppg, 1.4 spg, and
13 three-pointers. His season
average isn't on par with some of
the other candidates but he proved
his worth on Week 8 when he was
Dipset's only reliable scorer
against A*Team.
Dipset's founder, Jim Nguyen, led
the division in blocked shots and he
tallied 15 blocks this season. He
averaged 7.9 rpg, 1.4 spg and was
effective in altering shots in the
post. The Fallen finished with a 4-4
record and PF Brian Serpas was huge
in the post and he averaged a
team-high 11.8 rpg.
Ryan Rulloda, the league's #1 hated
player, won Most Inspirational
Player and league analysts are high
on him despite the hate he gets on
the court. Rulloda gets the crowd
riled up and at one point of the
season, Rulloda had fans posting
their hatred on Facebook. Matt Lauer
was a close runner-up and week after
week, he motivated his players by
posting highlight reels online.
Kevin Singson won Most Improved and
last season, he averaged 9.5 ppg,
1.3 spg. This season, he averaged
18.4 ppg, 2.1 spg for Pharcyde.
Another Kevin, Valmonte from
Assassins, led the division in
overall stats and he averaged 22.0
ppg, 10.3 rpg, 2.0 spg. His rival,
Cyrus Regalado
of Lights Out, came in at a distant
2nd place.
