Cisco Acevado wins MVP for Warriors, Lasalle Thomas Claims MVP

The former Champions Warriors finished the season with a Diamond Division best 6-2 record. Cisco Acevado led the way with 24.8 ppg and a division best 40 three-pointers. His teammate Lasalle Thomas was named Defensive Player of the Season and he grabbed a division-high 63 rebounds (7.9 rpg).

The Diamond Division only had 4 teams this season and Team Tanaka dropped out after Week 6. With only 3 teams and Warriors playing most of their games without forfeits, league analysts felt the season was a wash. The post season awards heavily favored Warriors and most of their players were rewarded Hall of Fame points.

"A lot of teams are avoiding playing in the league's elite division but if you want to guarantee yourself as a Hall of Fame player, you need to step your game up and compete in Diamond," said a league analyst. "Most of the players there don't have a lot of competition but they're racking up points for the Hall of Fame."

Cisco Acevado claims MVP honors while Primetime's Rashad Martin claims Defensive Player of Season

Relics sharp-shooter Cisco Acevado claimed both Diamond and Platinum Division MVP awards as he led the division in scoring averaging 31.1 ppg, 2.4 apg. Acevado led all players with 54 three-pointers in 8 games (nearly 7 three's per game). Flava 4 Life finished with a perfect season but Kenneth Ubom and Dwayne Gaines, two of the Flava 4 Life's best players were ineligible (only 5 played 5 games). That left Cisco Acevado in a level all by himself. Normally most players see the Most Improved Player of the Season award as an insult. This season, Acevado brought some honor to the award and he was named MIP. Last season, Acevado averaged 14.3 ppg hitting just 29 three-pointers.

GM Mario Thompson was rewarded as the GM of the Season after Flava 4 Life finished with a perfect 8-0 record.

This season, there weren't any rookies eligible for Rookie of the Season honors. Players must play 6 games to be considered for an End of the Season Award.

Outlawz get their due - claim GM of the Season and MVP of the Season

Veteran team Outlawz secured the #1 seed with a 7-1 record and GM David Munoz was rewarded with GM of the Season honors. One of the division leaders in assists (3.7 apg), he averaged 12.1 ppg, 2.6 spg to lead Outlawz. Jordan Ramos, the MVP last season, was the runner-up this season. His highlight included a 22 assist game and he finished the season tying the season assists record with Bank's Henry Frierson (74 assists, Winter 2009).

BK Agu broke the steals record this season, one of the oldest records to date. He logged 10 steals against Bullets on Week 8 and he recorded the first quadruple-double in Superstar Basketball history.

You would think that Agu's stats would earn him enough points for Fantasy Player of the Season but Agu didn't even crack the Top 10. Trinicousins Ryan Basco barely beat out Dynasty's Alex Koo for the #1 spot. What did it take for Basco to get the #1 ranking in this systematic list?  18.4 ppg, 76.6% ft, 15 three-pointers, 2.5 apg, 5.4 rpg, 2.4 spg, 0.4 bpg.

His boss, GM Michael Santa Maria nearly won GM of the Season in Gold after LeBronze Division Champions Trinicousins proved they're a worthy contender in Gold Division. Nearly celebrating a year of Trinicousins basketball, the fans continue to fill the stands and Trinicousins now have the most loyal fans in Superstar Basketball history. Edging Santa Maria was Outlawz GM David Munoz.

At the All Star Game last season, Jonathan Spaniol finally stepped up and claimed All Star MVP honors by leading his team to victory. That leadership carried over to Bad News Ballers and the result was the Most Improved Player of the Season award. Spaniol averaged just 16.3 ppg (98 points) with Stylin On You last season but this season, Spaniol averaged 28.6 ppg (200 points) for Bad News Ballers.

Rookie of the Season went to Terrell Langston of Green Light District. He really is a rookie because league analysts are still wondering who the hell he is. Jokes aside, he averaged, 17.3 ppg for GLD

Thrillers claim both MVP and GM of the Season Awards

For the past 2 seasons, Thrillers were the most consistent team in LeBronze Division and after finishing the season with a 5-3 record last Winter, the team improved to a 6-2 season. The team lost in the Championship Game on Week 8 against the Bullies and Nate Primous JR was a MVP Runner-up this season. The MVP was awarded to Mark Barron of the Thrillers.

Cyrus Regalado was named Defensive Player of the Season and he led Lights Out on the division with 110 rebounds. He averaged 1.1 spg and had 4 blocks to lead Lights Out. Cyrus was also an MVP candidate and he averaged 24.1 ppg, 2.0 spg. Dipset F Jim Nguyen was a Runner-up and he finished 2nd in blocked shots with 1.4 bpg.

One of the league's Original 6 General Managers, Still Fly's Justin Reyes made his comeback playing for a true LeBronze Division team, Still Fly. His career high was a 20 point game (Winter 2007) in Season 3. Thirteen seasons later, he topped the 20 point plateau by knocking down a career-high 22 points on Week 6.

"It was the same day Ray Allen knocked down 8 three-pointers, against he felt like Ray Allen that day," said teammate Alex Cua. "At least he scored 2 points in his follow up game, Ray Allen scored 0 points in his follow up game."

Jeff Jumarang's near triple double on Week 8 capped his season and he averaged 11.3 ppg, 3.8 apg, 4.6 rpg. He's given MVP candidate Darrell Mendoza a reliable PG and Brand Nu should be one of the favorites to contend with Thrillers next season. Both GMs finished #1 and #2 in the GM of the Season ballots.
