For weeks, the top 2 teams in the Diamond Division anticipated facing each other in the Finals. Most of their games came down to the wire with Young Gunnaz winning the season-series, 2-1. Will MVP Dion Bailey once again end Young Gunnaz dreams of winning the Championship?

”I anticipate this game to be close in the 1st half and for B3 to run away with the lead in the second half,” said The Rock GM Ben Sin.

OCTOBER 11, 2009

Three weeks ago, point guard James Acevado went down with a knee injury and skeptics felt that Throwback’s chances of winning a Championship fell with him. Without his defense on the opposing guards, without a point guard to distribute the ball, Throwback’s were in the mercy of #8 seed B-Junkies. The game went into OT and #1 Hall of Fame candidate, Andrew Knox, wouldn’t disappoint as he took Throwback’s to a Championship over B-Junkies, 64-61.

Buckets returned to the Finals with a 5-0 to start the game and Run N Gun countered with a 11-5 run of their own. After leading halfway through the 1st half, their shots weren’t falling and frustration amongst Run N Gun players began to sink in. The foul discrepancy was 7-0 in the 1st half and GM Anthony Santos had a legitimate argument for his team.
